How girl.dad verifies brands
Every directory brand is checked online. The girl.dad verified badge is narrower: it means we also have first-hand family experience and have rechecked the current official facts.
Identity
The official domain and brand identity match the listing.
Trading
The shop has a current catalogue or active real-world retail presence.
Fit
The range genuinely serves dads, daughters or family life.
Field evidence
A girl.dad editor or family member has bought, worn, used or visited the brand.
Freshness
Current products, locations and services are rechecked and dated.
What the badge means
A verified profile states what we experienced, cites the official sources used for the current check and shows the date. We review field-checked profiles at least annually, or sooner when a material detail changes.
What it does not mean
It is not a paid endorsement, a guarantee that every product will suit every family, or proof that the brand owner has claimed the profile. Owner claims use a separate “Claimed by the owner” badge.
Corrections
If a product, location or service has changed, email hey@girl.dad. We date the new check and update or remove the badge when the evidence no longer holds.
