girl.dad is free for dads. The shop is how we keep it that way, and how we give back. A share of every penny of profit goes to organisations caring for girls who need it most.
Why we do this
girl.dad celebrates dads who show up, the ones doing the hair, planning the days out, learning as they go. But not every child has someone in their corner. Some girls grow up without a father, without a family, sometimes without anyone at all.
So we made a simple promise. The profit from what you buy here helps fund homes and foundations that rescue, raise, school and protect girls. It is the same instinct that runs through the whole site, just pointed at the children who need it most.
How it works
A share of girl.dad's profit, not a fixed slice of each sale, goes to the organisations below. We keep it honest: profit comes after we have paid to make the tees properly, and what we give grows as the brand grows. We would rather show our working than print a headline number we cannot back up. As the shop grows, this page is where we will report what has gone where.

How does buying a tee help?
girl.dad is free for dads to use. The shop is how we keep the lights on, and how we give back. A share of the profit from what you buy goes to organisations that care for girls who need it most.
How much do you give?
A share of our profits, rather than a fixed slice of every sale. We are honest that profit comes after we have paid to make the tees well, and that what we give grows as girl.dad grows. We would rather under-promise and show the receipts than splash a big number we cannot stand behind.
Which organisations do you support?
Right now, homes and foundations raising girls in India, including Aarti for Girls and Tara. We will add more over time and say so clearly here.
Are you affiliated with them?
No. We support their work and link to them so you can give directly too, but we are not a formal partner, we do not use their logos, and we do not imply they endorse us. If you represent one of them and would prefer we did not feature you, email hey@girl.dad and we will take it down the same day.
How does girl.dad support dads, not just girls?
The whole site is built for dads and free to use: the days out, the experiences, the honest guides, and Celebrating Girl Dads, our library of real fathers doing remarkable things. The shop funds the giving; the site itself is the everyday support.
Is girl.dad a charity?
No, we are a small business that chooses to give back. That means we can move fast and keep building, while a share of what we make goes to girls who need it. If you want to give directly to the organisations above, please do.
