How do you choose what goes in a gift guide?
We start from the occasion and the kid, not from what pays best. A pick has to be something we would actually hand over, at a price that matches what it delivers, and it carries a Dad Score that says so. Anything we would not buy ourselves does not go in to pad the list.

What is a safe amount to spend?
For a child, the honest answer is far less than the internet suggests. The gifts that land are usually specific rather than expensive: the thing she mentioned once in the car, not the biggest box. Our guides are grouped so you can find something good at every band rather than being pushed upward.
What do you buy a girl dad who says he wants nothing?
